AmnioTix intends to develop and market medical diagnostic devices. The company's first device is designed to detect the presence of fetal bowel contents (Meconium) in the Amniotic fluid during pregnancy in order to assess fetal well being. The device is based on spectroscopic methods and an associated probe specifically adapted for the fetus and mother.
