The IUB (Intra Uterine Ball) is a new patented intrauterine 3D shaped element. In contrast to current 2D T-shaped IUDs its diameter is larger than the cervix so that the risk of expulsion is reduced, there are no sharp edges so it does not protrude or wound the uterine wall, its spherical configuration prevents mal position, and its unique way of insertion prevents perforation, so all the above major drawbacks are prevented
